Building and maintaining partnerships between the school and industry is critical to ensuring the program meets the changing workforce skills and requirements.

A high-quality logistics and supply chain management education program helps prepare students for career success by providing experience-based and practical learning, enriching classroom learning with real world content.

Requirements:

• The program must have a written academic-industry collaboration plan outlining their strategy and specific areas for collaboration.
• The program must have a formal mechanism for industry input on curriculum and instruction methods.
• The industry input should provide local and global perspectives of the logistics industry as a whole.
• A formal program for faculty to be kept updated on industry developments.
• The students are exposed to real world industry experiences and current issues in the courses.
• The Students are provided with opportunities to obtain practical experience where they can apply their knowledge into practice.
